New ways of being church

During this time of social isolation to fight the virus, our church building itself is closed. Our church family is not!! We want to use this opportunity to connect with God, each other and the community in new ways. Worship will continue in new ways. We continue in our mission to Praise, Nurture and Serve… Ways to connect are detailed on this page.

At St David’s or Online … at 6pm for the summer! This week … God!?! Nick has an interesting talk about belief in God [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXPHkeuwnN0] and we plan to discuss how to help ourselves and others have that conversation … argument or imagination, or, I reckon, hunch for most people. What do you say?

Thrive is live again at St David’s and online at 4pm! We begin a series based on the Start! Course, how to talk about faith. Think of up to 3 friends or family with whom you would like to discuss faith as we consider Start’s approach. This week: 1. ‘Life?’ Lk 19:1-10. Watch what Nick has to say in the morning and then join us at 4.

Connect with the Community of Soul Friends

A rhythm of prayer is the bedrock of our life with God. It does not have to be onerous and should not be guilt-inducing, although it will take a bit of time to develop a new habit. The Community of Soul Friends offers this simple rhythm of prayer: morning, noon and night which is intended as a starting point and as an aid to creating space for God in the midst of busy lives. There is also a shorter form of prayer available. Click ‘Read our Daily Prayer‘ to access both versions
