New ways of being church

During this time of social isolation to fight the virus, our church building itself is closed. Our church family is not!! We want to use this opportunity to connect with God, each other and the community in new ways. Worship will continue in new ways. We continue in our mission to Praise, Nurture and Serve… Ways to connect are detailed on this page.

Thrive is our weekly service of worship focussing on learning to follow Jesus where we are, using discussion, prayer and worship. At present we are on Zoom but expect to have live worship when circumstances allow. Currently we are reading James and so learn about ‘steadfastness’ or ‘perseverance’ in trials. On 11 October we look at James 3. Do join us and if you can, read the passage beforehand for a better discussion.

Join us in daily prayer at home. Or perhaps you like a 'soul friend?'

Connect with the Community of Soul Friends

A rhythm of prayer is the bedrock of our life with God. It does not have to be onerous and should not be guilt-inducing, although it will take a bit of time to develop a new habit. The Community of Soul Friends offers this simple rhythm of prayer: morning, noon and night which is intended as a starting point and as an aid to creating space for God in the midst of busy lives. There is also a shorter form of prayer available. Click ‘Read our Daily Prayer‘ to access both versions
