During this time of social isolation to fight the virus, our church building itself is closed. Our church family is not!! We want to use this opportunity to connect with God, each other and the community in new ways. Worship will continue in new ways. We continue in our mission to Praise, Nurture and Serve… Ways to connect are detailed on this page.
Two opportunities to explore, question, learn and grow:
The Bible Course (from the Bible Society)
The Bible is a big and complicated book to read and for many it can be difficult to know where to start. The Bible Course is a great resource, whether you are familiar with the Bible or just starting out.
Each week for the next 8 weeks we’ll make a video and accompanying notes available.

We’re starting with a book called ‘Where is God when it Hurts’ by Philip Yancy. Its widely available and is currently just £1.99 on Kindle at Amazon:
Each week we will post questions and things to think about relating to each chapter on our online church site (choyr). If you’d prefer these by email, let Nick know.
Read on your own or join in with the questions on our online church.
Those living at Moss Edge View.
All those who volunteer to clean our church.
A rhythm of prayer is the bedrock of our life with God. It does not have to be onerous and should not be guilt-inducing, although it will take a bit of time to develop a new habit. The Community of Soul Friends offers this simple rhythm of prayer: morning, noon and night which is intended as a starting point and as an aid to creating space for God in the midst of busy lives. There is also a shorter form of prayer available. Click ‘Read our Daily Prayer‘ to access both versions
