New ways of being church

During this time of social isolation to fight the virus, our church building itself is closed. Our church family is not!! We want to use this opportunity to connect with God, each other and the community in new ways. Worship will continue in new ways. We continue in our mission to Praise, Nurture and Serve… Ways to connect are detailed on this page.

Calling all Common Threaders! Bring your own cup of coffee and we will share as we normally do except in virtual reality! Please have any examples of work you are doing or pictures you have found ready to hold up and show to inspire each other to get sketching and stitching. If new ideas and images have popped into your thinking lets share and encourage each other to use whatever materials we have at home. When we can we will find a way of putting all the bits together to make a banner!

Connect with the Community of Soul Friends

A rhythm of prayer is the bedrock of our life with God. It does not have to be onerous and should not be guilt-inducing, although it will take a bit of time to develop a new habit. The Community of Soul Friends offers this simple rhythm of prayer: morning, noon and night which is intended as a starting point and as an aid to creating space for God in the midst of busy lives. There is also a shorter form of prayer available. Click ‘Read our Daily Prayer‘ to access both versions
